I stayed for one night and was pleasantly impressed by how close it was to Kyoto Station, just a short walk away yet still in a quiet area. The beautiful aesthetic of the hotel added to the calming vibe I appreciated during my stay. I loved the amenities bar in the lobby, as it allows for less waste while still providing everything guests might need. Although the pillows were a little stiff for my liking, the overall experience was positive, especially with the variety of toiletries offered and cozy pajamas provided.

Easy access to coin laundry on level 6 was a huge plus, especially during a longer stay.
Only one cleaning a week felt eco-friendly, but leaving a full set of clean towels daily seemed excessive. The pillows in the Double Room were stiff, and noise from the laundry room and elevator traffic made it hard to relax. Menu items lacked English versions, complicating ordering.

This place was just an appropriate option for a quick weekend visit in Kyoto with very good value for money. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. Book the double room if traveling with a partner, as you might need the extra space for your luggage.

Recommend it for couples wanting relaxation
The staff was super friendly, spoke English which helped a lot. Loved the amenities bar in the lobby where you could grab all sorts of self-care stuff without waste, made me feel good about using it instead of generic hotel stuff.
It’s not cheap but quite acceptable for what you get.

Great spot for a group trip! We loved the easy access to nearby shops and the helpful front desk. Visiting the beautiful gardens and the local temples was a highlight. The rooms are well-designed for comfort, and the lobby area was perfect for gathering.
One downside was the small room size. maneuvering big luggage was a bit tricky.

I stayed for 3 nights in the Double Room with Shower, Non-Smoking. The bed was super comfy, and the pillows were probably the best I’ve had in Japan. It was nice to not hear much noise from outside, which helped me sleep well. But I did find the amenities a bit basic compared to some other places. A little more attention to the details would’ve been nice!

My stay was super comfy, with a great futon blanket and a powerful Panasonic hair dryer that really made my mornings! I also enjoyed some downtime at the lovely sun terrace to unwind after a day out. The room was pretty snug for two with luggage, but honestly, it was still well-appointed and cozy. 😌

would definitely come back.
Super cozy place! Loved the beautiful aesthetic. Rooms were comfy with air conditioning, electric kettle, free toiletries, and nice PJs. The soundproofing was great. Plus, loved the buffet breakfast—had lots of options. Coin laundry on level 6 was a lifesaver. Oh, and the nearby yakiniku place? So tasty and affordable!
